Tell us more about your work/life outside of being a Sweat CBD affiliate. (Are you a business founder? A stay-at-home mom? What was your former career path? Are you a full-time affiliate seller? If not, what else do you do?)
I am currently a personal trainer and nutrition coach. I also teach group fitness classes.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”podcast-intro”]
What is one of the greatest challenges you have personally faced in your career? (Or if you’re willing, share a story of a time you screwed up & how you recovered!)
I was actually working as a Speech Therapist. I wasn’t where I needed to be as far as college courses. I was let go from my full time job! I luckily had started working in fitness, which I thought was just a side hustle, but now I am almost to the point where I am working full time training! It wasn’t easy and I had to push to get myself where I am now but I am proud of myself for not giving up! Now I have found a second career possibility![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”podcast-intro”]
Let’s look in the rear-view mirror. What is one thing you have accomplished in the past year (either personally or professionally) that you are most proud of?
Becoming a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. Not letting failure get the best of me and instead, coming out stronger![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”podcast-intro”]
Now, let’s look into the future. What is one major milestone that you would like to accomplish in the next year?
I would like to continue my education in the speech therapy field, but also continue building my personal training business and see where I can go with that![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”podcast-intro”]
Can you tell us about a time when you took a huge risk/did something you were scared to do, and it totally paid off? (Personal or professional)
I quit my first job without having a second job yet. I hated working so much I just gave my 2 weeks. I panicked for a minute, but soon I saw that a new gym was opening up in my town. I literally saw the owner working outside of the gym one day and asked if he was hiring! I got a position working at the front desk. 4 years later, that is now the gym that I am training at! Looking back, I am so glad I took a chance and quit my other job because of how much opportunity came from working at the gym! If I had stayed in the job I hated I might not be a personal trainer today![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”podcast-intro”]
How do you feel you’re making a positive impact and generating change through SweatCBD and/or your work?
